It seems I will be back in Milan again this year! Really happy to share with you the great news that my application was accepted to take part in the new Tandem Europe programme that will begin with the Partner Forum in Milan in mid-October.
Here, the 46 invited cultural managers from 18 different EU countries will meet and get to know each other. An intensive programme with workshops, conversations and other activities will inspire them to decide with which partner they would like to cooperate and formulate a collaboration proposal for a joint (Tandem) application.
Afterwards for the main phase of Tandem Europe, an independent jury will select the 15 Tandem proposals showing the most potential.
The assessment and selection was conducted by staff members of European Cultural Foundation, Fondazione Cariplo, Robert Bosch Stiftung, Stavros Niarchos Foundation and MitOst e.V. in accordance to the following criteria:
– Relevance and experience in the field of social innovation through arts and culture;
– Quality of the application based on capacity, experience and strategy/motivation of organisation and applicant;
– Matching potential of organisation/applicant with other qualified organisations;
– Inviting a balanced mix of organisations (disciplines/topics) to the partner forum.
TANDEM is an exchange programme that assists cultural organisations in developing long-term working relationships, knowledge development and networking opportunities with project partners from Europe and beyond. The aim of the programme is to connect and inspire cultural managers by supporting the sharing of knowledge and experience across geographical and cultural borders.
